Concord Control Systems Bags Major ₹185 Crore Order for KAVACH 4.0 from Indian Railways

Concord Control Systems Limited has secured a significant order worth ₹185.09 crore for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of on-board KAVACH 4.0 locomotive equipment. The order has been awarded by Indian Railways and will be executed through the company’s associate, Progota India Private Limited.

KAVACH is India’s indigenous automatic train protection system designed to prevent collisions, signal passing at danger, and excessive speed incidents, enhancing overall railway safety. The KAVACH 4.0 version represents an advanced iteration with improved features for better performance on locomotives.

As per the company’s disclosure under SEBI’s Listing Regulations, the project is domestic in nature and must be completed within the next 12 months. The order does not involve any related party transactions, and no promoter or group company holds an interest in the awarding entity.

This win marks a key milestone for Concord Control Systems, which specializes in railway electronics, control systems, and safety solutions. Through its association with Progota, the company is positioning itself as a reliable contributor to Indian Railways’ ongoing modernization and safety upgrade initiatives.

The announcement is expected to strengthen the company’s order book and highlight its growing role in supplying critical railway technologies amid the government’s push for safer and more efficient rail networks.
