Tata Power has partnered with global technology leader Salesforce to digitally transform its fast-growing renewable energy businesses. The collaboration aims to speed up India’s shift toward clean energy by building a secure, AI-powered digital ecosystem for rooftop solar, EV charging, and smart home solutions.
Through this tie-up, Tata Power will use Salesforce’s Agentforce platform including Agentforce Sales, Service, and Marketing to create intelligent workflows. These tools will improve customer and partner engagement, streamline lead management, provide real-time inventory visibility, automate processes, and deliver better transparency across the renewable energy value chain.
The partnership supports Tata Power’s long-term goal of helping India reach net-zero emissions while scaling clean energy adoption nationwide. By combining Salesforce’s AI and CRM strengths with Tata Power’s expertise in renewables, the two companies plan to co-innovate solutions that make rooftop solar installations easier, expand EV charging networks, and advance smart energy management for homes.

The announcement came during a media briefing in Mumbai, where both companies shared details on how the partnership will help meet India’s ambitious renewable energy targets. It reflects growing use of advanced technology to support the country’s clean energy goals, including widespread adoption of solar power and electric mobility.
