Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited has secured an important order from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), under the Ministry of Defence. The contract, valued at approximately ₹80.28 crore (including taxes), focuses on the development of a high precision optical system for air defence applications.
The order was received on January 30, 2026, and requires the company to complete the development and execution within the next 18 months from the date of the supply order. This domestic project highlights Paras Defence’s expertise in advanced optics and electro-optical technologies, which are vital for modern defence systems.
Paras Defence specializes in designing and manufacturing high-end optical and optronic solutions for defence and space sectors. The company has been contributing to several key national programmes by providing indigenous equipment that supports India’s push for self-reliance in critical defence technologies.
