Uttar Pradesh government has signed a memorandum of understanding worth ₹25,000 crore with Puch AI to develop artificial intelligence infrastructure in the state.
The agreement will bring AI Parks, large-scale data center facilities, AI Commons, and an AI University to Uttar Pradesh.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared details of the MoU. It aims to strengthen governance, support innovation, and open new opportunities for young people in the state.
The project focuses on building advanced AI systems and related infrastructure. It includes shared AI resources through AI Commons and dedicated education at the planned AI University.
Puch AI co-founder and CEO Siddharth Bhatia said the state’s push in AI will change Uttar Pradesh and the whole country. He described artificial intelligence as the next major area of growth.
The MoU forms part of Uttar Pradesh’s efforts to become a key player in India’s digital and AI sector. The state has announced plans for multiple data center parks and related projects in recent months.
Puch AI is an Indian company that builds AI tools for users in the country. It offers services in multiple Indian languages through platforms like WhatsApp and calls. The firm serves a large number of users and focuses on making AI accessible across India.
This agreement adds to other investments in Uttar Pradesh’s tech and digital space. The state continues to attract proposals for data centers, AI labs, and related infrastructure to support its goal of digital growth and job creation.
